I use this 2-3 times a week and love how my waffles turn out golden brown on the outside and tender on the inside. The plates have little "dimples" in them, this is so the waffles will not stick. I've made bisquick waffles, home made waffles and a whole wheat pancake mix. All turned out great. Most mixes make 4 thick waffles. We only eat 2 in a sitting. I freeze the other two and my son pops them in the toaster for breakfast.
